WORKSHOP: THE NEW NORMAL - BETWEEN IDEOLOGY AND IDENTITY

We are witnessing a constant battle for the redefining of terms, and their emphasis and the ideology we are all exposed to in this generation forces us to acquire new words, to embrace new meanings, but most of all to very carefully choose the ways we interact, so as not to offend. Tolerance has long ago ceased being enough. Nowadays, we do not only have to tolerate sexual minorities, but we also have to cheer them on. The relationship between the Church and the LGBTQ+ ideology is an extremely difficult one; however, we have no other choice but to prepare our youth for what they are about to witness at a cultural level, and to also prepare our Church to demonstrate love but also truth, so that ultimately, the Gospel may be made known.
