A graduate of the Emanuel University of Theology in Oradea, with a Masters in Contemporary Ecclesiology from King’s College London, Vlad is currently studying to obtain his PhD from the same university. He serves as the director of Think Ask Ponder (RZIM) in Romania, an apologetics and evangelism project aiming to “Helping the believer think, and the thinker believe”. As the editor for the “Apologetics around the table” book and as author of the “The (I)relevant Christian(ity), he’s frequently invited to speak and debate at conferences and interviews on apologetics.
Vlad is married to Dora, and together they have four children. They live in Cluj (Romania), and together they attend VIA Church, where Vlad serves as one of the pastors.

As the Chief Academic Officer, Alin provides leadership for all aspects of the University’s instructional program, including academic standards, instructional quality, school culture, use of academic data, professional development, and talent management. He oversees more than thirty academic programs and three separate schools as part of Multnomah University.
Alin has been involved in church ministry and international mission work since 2000. He is also the CEO and Founder of Grain for Pain, a non-profit organization operating in South Sudan and Uganda, and he is a founding member of Action Research Network of America, one of the first Action Research professional networks in the US. He has conducted several research projects in the US, Mexico, and Africa on various topics such as online learning, immigration, family, education, and the effects of war on society.

As believers, it’s our calling to embody Christ’s love and teachings, serving as beacons of hope and compassion amidst diverse school communities. However, navigating the challenges of religious expression, peer pressure, and legal boundaries requires a thoughtful approach. By leading by example, building genuine relationships, and respecting differing beliefs, students can effectively share their faith while fostering an atmosphere of understanding and respect. With a balanced understanding of risks and precautions, participants will leave equipped to shine brightly in their schools, positively impacting peers and glorifying God through their actions and words.
